And this: this happened to me twice now. During the fight (the second time it was when I beat the last monster, but not sure about the first time) the game suddenly just crashes.
I get an error message saying:

Script 'Yami Battle Symphony' line 806: NoMethodError occured.
undefined methot 'item' for nil:NilClass

I admit I'm a bit mystified by this.
Can you remember which character was the last one to act and what they did? i.e. was it a straightforward attack, a physical skill, a magic skill or using an item?
If it was a skill, can you remember which one?

I know it's a lot to ask, but having that information would be a big help in tracking down what happened.

Oh, and was it against the same enemies both times, or different ones?

I'm not 100% sure, but I would think it was a physical attack. I usually wipe the last ones standing out by physically attacking.
Who though .... I really don't know. All I can say it wasn't Hygrod as he was not in the party.
It was definitely not against the same enemies. I think the first time was a couple days ago and I'm now much farther in the game. The last time it happened in the marsh but I don't remember when the first time was.

I don't know if this "Yami Battle Symphony" has something to do with sounds. If so it might be of interest that I've turned sounds and music off.

That script is what gives the side view battle system, so the sound, or lack of it, doesn't affect it at all.

As I've used that script in 2 games now and this hasn't come up before, it must be something very specific. Without some data I can't know where to begin. Which doesn't help you.

If it happens again, could you please note as much about it as you can, especially if a skill is involved. I had to do some quite detailed coding on a lot of them to get the precise effects, and it could be that one of them clashes with something. Or it might be a combination of things.

Yes, I will pay attention.
However, don't worry too much. I'm pretty far in the game now and it happened only twice, so it's certainly not a major bug. It's just annoying when you haven't saved in a while - which doesn't happen to me as I'm a save-maniac.

Another little passibility glitch: Inside Secret Room #26, on the right wall, opposite the chest, but one step up, you can get on the wall and walk around on it.

Those rare, seemingly totally random, bugs are the stuff of nightmares for a developer.
On the one hand, I hope you don't get caught by it again, so that you have a smooth playthrough, but on the other, if you don't I'll never be able to solve it!

I am in the Hordel Marsh. I noticed that 3 of my party are infected with Miasma. I have no potion or cure. Dathan has a spell which can only be used in battle called Fumigate Fugue that says it removes it and protects against it, but it does not remove it. I must have gotten it while going after the green statue. Sleeping does not remove it.

Any ideas?

The Green Statue doesn't inflict Miasma.

Could you double check the name. While you are in the Marsh, your party will get afflicted with 'Marsh Fever'. Two characters are immune, and you can find an Accessory which protects against it for a third character. It is only when you finish the Marsh by leaving at the North exit that you get rid of it for everyone.

I'm sure you are right. As it went away at the Inn. What is weird for me, is the State if not listed in the Tutorial Scrolls. The closest I could find was Miamsa. It's annoying having the flashing purple every few steps we take yet not having a way to remove it
