Acrobat or bard dilemma

It's funny that I didn't miss a single secret room and I didn't look for help on how to find them all - found them by myself .. but at the same time I missed a Quest ... damn .
I will go and check .

About the skills : I remember getting one from a boss fight even - I think it was "the mother" - no spoilers lol - Kris said something about if I hadn't been in the party I couldn't have got this skill ... I thought it would be a great damaging skill since it was a boss fight - but it was still useless for me - it relied more on his attack(I think) and I didn't spent points in his attack - only a little bit his magic attack / his agility and some luck for increase chance to inflict states.

I think this is the explanation - almost all skills will use either Attack or Magic Attack as part of the damage calculation. So it's a trade-off if you put the points to Agility instead. For example, I never gave points to Hygrod's Agility - even if I put all of them there, he would still be slower than the enemies, but I could put them where he would become the tankiest of tanks.

nice ... that clarifies things ... although I got to tell you that if you put all points into Hygrod agility ... he gets faster than the enemies .. I put him in final boss fight just to test that and he was atacking before the enemies :P

They say that players will find stuff the developer never knew! I never put all his points into just one stat, so didn't discover that. Was he still dealing a decent amount of damage with that build?

sorry for late answer ... I never saw a new reply to this up until now. To answer your question : No ... his damage was pretty weak compared to others - but I like the name of the skills - very funny.

I'm glad you like them. I spend a fair bit of time trying to come up with skill names that are a bit more interesting that Fire 1, Fire 2, Fire 3.

As you went with acrobat you won't have seen the names of the skills which went with the Bard, but all are based around music.
