Based on your experience, we decided to add 25 steps between each encounter in the final dungeon.
The new build has been delivered to Indinera for uploading.
If you donated enough money to the church, you can also receive an Ancient Branch that halves the encounter rate.

Thanks for listening. :)
I donated a couple of times to the church. The first time wasn't much. Later, when I had a lot of money, I tried to donate again, but the priest told me I couldn't give that much. Guess the trick is to donate often.

You're welcome. It's our pleasure to receive detailed feedback like yours and see where we can still improve the game.
You need to donate 300G to the church and you can only give 100 after each boss defeated.

I am in the second dungeon and I can't find the switch to open the gate that has a 'black' monster spot behind it? Also there is a spot at the bottom of the dungeon that looks like a save spot and when you step on it you get a message that this isn't a save spot?

Lots of things aren't as they first appear... :) Did you get the Book of Attack only to find it was actually a comic book, and those worthless dirty chunks of charcoal that you thought were precious ores?
There are a couple of black monster spots in this dungeon. If you mean the gate that leads to the smaller room inside the larger room near the top, then flip the switch on the mid northern wall which will open the gate to the larger room, then flip the 2 side-by-side switches to the left of the gate you just opened.

I'm pretty sure I explored every area of this second dungeon, yet I still have some switches I haven't touched. Still trying to investigate what these switches do before moving on.

Just a quick question, is there still a problem (warning popping up) when trying to install (or even download) the game?

I downloaded the newer version and got the usual Windows Defender message warning me the program may be dangerous and I opted to 'run anyway.' I get this with most game downloads, I presume because there's no Microsoft Certificate or whatever. This was not the same as that first warning I got with the original version. Also, Norton popped up with the first version saying it wasn't a commonly downloaded file and did I really want to download it. That may be because it was second time I had downloaded that file. You'd probably need to hear from someone who downloaded the newer version without downloading the original first.

I am in the 4th (fire dungeon) and have been wandering around for some time now looking for the black spot so that I can fight the boss. I can't find it anywhere. Can someone tell me where it is or if there is something that I should do?

The boss is in the central bottom part of the map inside a square circle. He doesn't show up until all the mini-bosses of the realm have been defeated. I don't remember whether there are 2 or 3 mini-bosses. The only one I had difficulty finding turned out to be in the top left corner in a short dead end below a silver chest. Then the black boss circle appeared. Be sure to bring plenty of coagulators with you, at least 10, before you attempt this fight.

Thanks Lady JJ. I think I'd already fought the one in the top left hand corner. However, I'm still unable to find any further mini bosses or bosses. Did you (or anyone else) mark where they were?

In the very lower right there is a save spot. A trail leads up to a mini-boss. I think there was another mini-boss before I got there, but it would have been right in plain sight, so I don't think you would have missed that one. I don't remember exactly where, but I do think it was early on before I'd done much exploration.

I'm totally stuck in the 6th (last) dungeon. I only see 2 or 3 blue buttons I can press or release, one blue button I can't seem to access and a red button I also can't access. The gate in the NW area is always closed and I can't find an unexplored area. Can someone give me some clues? I'm getting very frustrated!

Lady JJ - can you help?
Thanks!

Not all buttons are meant to be pressed. There are 2, maybe 3, that if you do press them, actually close a gate. Unfortunately I'm away on vacation right now without access to my maps, but I can help you to get started, assuming the gate you can't open leads north. From what I remember, there are indeed 3 red buttons in this area, which is roughly the lower 1/2 half of the entire dungeon. By pressing one of those red buttons, you actually closed that gate to the north. I think the other 2 gates lead to areas you don't need to revisit, so my advice is to go back and toggle those 3 red buttons again. If one is down and you toggle it up, that's okay, just toggle it once. Then go back and check that gate. It should be open. If this isn't the correct gate, then I'll need to wait until Wednesday when I'm home to check my maps before helping further. Maybe the developer will drop by in the meantime.

If this helps, and you are able to get further, keep in mind that not all buttons are meant to be pressed. Don't go running around pressing buttons indiscriminately. I would advise that you save your game as closely as possible to the button, explore the area, see if there is a gate that impedes further exploration, then go back and press the button to see if that is, indeed, the correct button to push. The buttons can be pretty far away from the actual gate they control, so this is a lot of back and forth, trial and error. Hopefully you have the later version where the encounter rate has been reduced, or have the ancient branch that halves the encounter rate.

I've tried to uninstall the demo after purchase a few times now are the demo and full game connected that windows will not uninstall demo? Also, love this game and style. The characters are hysterical and dialogue has me laughing especially in the bar area...makes me wish I could punch them every time they speak which would be a nice add-on. Thanks for the work!!!
