I got to admit that I don't really like the fact that you can't save anywhere ... and that there is no difficulty options - standard difficulty for everybody....

Since I experiment a lot and I don't mind dying to on fights.. I rather have the options to save a lot so I can jump back before the battle and try something else. Not really fun to find out I lost half an hour progress just because something killed me before my next save.

Based on the feedback, I've already started working on adding an option for always saving and I'm making an Easy mode, too. The options will be available at the start of the game and you can change the difficulty and save mode options at a priest as well. I have to implement it and then do some testing, but I hope to have it done soon. :)
Edit: it will work with any save files already created once I get it updated.

Sounds good ... I didn't fully explained myself about the difficulty modes ... I don't play easy mode ... I only play maniac bat shit crazy hard modes lol .... so what I meant is a mode that makes it very difficult.

Hello Developer! Can you please answer some questions?

1. What is the max level? I'm curious to figure out if all my characters can max out the skill trees or if I should focus on one skill at a time per character.

2. What's in the guide? Does it help explain what you're supposed to do next or will my characters find a Quest journal? Or is it just maps and such?

3. How many secret rooms are there to find? I'm still just grinding in the caves right now and haven't found one yet.

Thank you!

Hi, thanks for trying out the game :)

1. 99 is the max level. However, for the skill trees, you also get 1 skill point per Orb collected and 1 per Paradox Miasma. The skill points from the Orbs and Miasmas will give 1 skill point to every character (even characters you don't have yet). You won't be able to fill out both skill trees on one character fully
Spoiler: show
unless you find all the Paradox Miasmas. The reward is 300 skill points for every character.

2. The guide gives tips for character builds, tips for some enemies and all bosses, and it fully outlines how to complete every part of the game. It gives the full solution to any puzzles and such. It also has the maps and clearly lists out all the main collectibles, such as the Paradox Miasmas and the Orbs. There's no quest journal, but you'll find a prophet in Hovia (and later cities) that will give hints about what you're supposed to do next.

3. There's no specific hidden rooms or anything that I keep track of like that, but there are numerous areas and maps you don't have to find for the story progression. The caves you're in should have a couple hidden areas, but they aren't separate rooms. The world map will have several ruins and towers and secrets that require different skills or vehicles to reach and they're purely for exploration and not the game's progression.

Yup, you've got a rare profile. I understand you though, as I'm kinda the same. Love very big challenges.

I only every play on Easy mode. The easier the better for me. I don't care for the battles, but love all the rest of what the game has to offer. And thanks for making it so we can save anywhere. +::Thumbup

Let me know when you finish the save anywhere - I have been stuck in the prison for what seems like hours. Keep getting caught by guards

Hi
Sorry for the delay.
I just updated the file for the full game. It has options for both Easy Mode and Save Anywhere.
The game demo file isn't updated just yet, but I will have it updated soon. I just have to test it and upload it.
Easy Mode will increase your HP by 50%, attack and magic attack by 33%, halve the encounter rate, double gold, and increase EXP by 150%.

You can change these settings at one of the priests.

Let me know if you have any other concerns. Thanks for playing the game :)

I updated the game with an Easy Mode and a Save Anytime mode. You can choose it just after you start the game and you can change the settings at any of the priests in the game as well.

Thanks for purchasing the game. I hope you enjoy :)

The download link you got for purchasing the game should let you download it again (but it will be the newer version). The save files save to the appdata folder, so if you reinstall it, your save files will be fine.

Ruins Room 2

Postby sandie1000 » Sun Jul 26, 2020 7:44 pm

I finally broke down and bought the guide, but the description of how to solve the puzzle in ruins room 2 doesn't make sense to me. Can you help?

Thanks for your response! I bought both the game and guide. Thank you for adding the Epilepsy Warning during download. I, for one, really appreciate that!
