I'm still in time. Crossing fingers. It's a huge 60h behemoth with 70+ secret rooms and 50+ sidequests. Send me all your good energy! +::wizard +::wizard +::wizard

Oh wow, it this your biggest game since The Book of Legends? It seems huge, not just playthrough but 70 secret rooms? The only game to top that number is Asguaard.

I was also thinking, which of my games have more than 50 sidequests?

Yeah definitely the biggest since TBOL. Seems very long to me to do everything.

More than 50 sidequests??? +::O_o That's more than my game had.

What's next, going to make a game with more sidequests than Skyrim? +::biggrin

Don't tempt him... he is ambitious when he wants to be... and inspiration strikes.... I think Witcher 3 had even more lands... and gigantic cities.

I remember the maximum time I invested in a 3d rpg was around 250 hours - a game mod made by russians for Gothic 2 - one of the best rpgs with 2003 graphics... but I don't mind since everything else except graphics was exceptionally done.

I really wanted to make something big with this one.
And I'm really asking the community which of my previous games had the most sidequests, because I don't remember so well.
I remember well the nb of characters (TBOL had 40+, the whole LF saga a lot as well), even the Secret Rooms (Asguaard is the absolute champion), but sidequests?
The LF trilogy had tons of them but it was spread out over 3 games. I think each Millennium game had quite a lot.
But in the end this game might be my champion, clocking at 50+ overall. :)
And most of them are elaborate, not fetch quests, so that's why in the end the game is so long lol
Which could raise another question: which of my game takes truly the longest to complete?

I kinda get caught in the torrent, in fact. Once something gets big, I don't shy away from it, let alone give up. I want to remain up to the challenge, at all costs. +::wizard

I agree with Thomas, Laxius Force 3 takes the longest. There is a lot of story, a lot of quests, a lot of conversation, lo of situations, a lot of dungeons, a lot of everything if compared to Asguaard (the second biggest)

As for quest number, I don't remember how many side-quests 3 Stars of Destiny had, but I'm sure it's the one with most side-quests (stand-alone) so far. By checking some of the walktrhoughs scattered through the internet, it doesn't actually separate side quests from the main quests, but it reached the number 50.

I just checked my files from the Laxius Force series, good to see I still had them and how much passion I have for these games for trying to explore every corner of these majestic places, but oh well, I got carried away with sweet gaming memories. lol

I checked my files and I had a Laxius Force 2 import save file to 3 with 112 hours and my last Laxius Force 3 file, in Astral Litz had 202 hours. I never played so much hours of any RPG game in my life lol

Now, my save file from Laxius Force 3 has almost everything completed, I managed to do that by following the walkthrough and guides from the forum, which menas it has some of the best equipment for characters, almost all side quests completed, lots of characters evolved to high levels (+50) and reading every dialogue calmy instead of pressing enter non-stop to skip scenes. Even with those guides I took like 90 +/- to reach the final parts of the game, imagine a non experienced player with no guide or walkthrough (even though he or she is not trying to do all side quests) reading all dialogues, facing the hordes of enemies this game throws at you, maybe trying to complete all side quests... I would say, around 70-100 hours.

I just recently replayed LF 1-3 and ended at 377 hours with Random (lvl 99), Wendy (lvl 89), Sarah (lvl 88), Luci (lvl 99) and only quest 333 (elvis' daughter) uncompleted. Never figured that one out, but I think it was a timing issue. There were other purposely incomplete quests (kept the ketakeri blade an orb).

We better find our about Sarah's family soon, or I'm ......... okay, I'm just gonna have to wait. +::surrender

I just checked and my LF2 export save was at 148 hours. At the end of LF3 is was 246 hours.
I.e. 98 hours. However, this time does not take reloads into accounts. So easily over 100 hours...

My LF2 export file was at 170 hours. I don't have a clue what I was doing for 200 hours in LF3 except for chasing and finishing quests. I do play slow, but ... +::Zzzz

so it's pretty clear that LF series is the biggest ... and LF 3 is the biggest one in terms of hours spend if you want to do everything .

One more day left now ?
One question that popped into my head : when we find the secret rooms ... do we find them numbered in order in games like " a tale of a common man" or a timeless intervention .... or we find them scattered like how it was in Opaline .

For example : if we find SR2 ... the next one will be SR3 ? Or there is a chance that we find SR4 and SR5 first and we find SR3 waaay later ? I much prefer them in order so it's easier to know when I lost a secret room and go back on a previous save or something like that.
I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I am done.
