I think there may be a problem with the final Volcano map just before the Dark Shrine.

The red boss dot is ever so slightly too far north (minor), but there is also no indication of the secret room that is found in almost the same place the red dot is located. I really do explore regardless of what the maps show. That is one of the reasons I get cranky +::grrr

about not finding stuff I need for completing a quest. For example, according to the game script I need a 3rd AGI boost for the Blood Brute encounter, but I only have 2 different items (Hero Potion & Energy Hexacrystal) that will boost my AGI to complete yet another quest. I don't have Genevieve, so there is no chance of fabricating anything even if she could.

BTW, I do like that NO maps have pictures that include chests or any other indication of something that might be there.

If I can find a guy making weapons in the lava, why can't I find someone who will sell me a boost...or even a Manticore (as a pet, of course)

You mean there's an error in the guide? What page would that be?

Manticores live in the snow ehehe maybe you can have a pet ghoul instead? +::biggrin

The secret room to which I am referring is called SR#067 in the game. I hope that helps. The other 2 secret rooms are correct. There is just this additional SR not mentioned on the map. It is located very near, and east, of some crab and almost exactly where the red dot is positioned on the map. I do have a save from inside the SR if you need it. It is the same situation in both versions of the guide.
