Every 888 years, it's the Night of the Stars, a unique event that sets every folk from the town of Faust on fire with sheer excitement.

The Champion must unite forces with the 3 demigods (the Saint, the Chaos and the Shatterer) to seal the breach to Zarmazari, the doomed world.
You are the Champion and as per the legend of your glorious predecessors... you only have 24h to succeed!
Can you be up to the task? Will the demigods listen to you or just... turn their back away from you with disdain?

Night of the Stars features an exciting quest with 6 playable characters plus a lot of secrets (including sidequests and secret rooms) and interactivity that you've come to expect from vintage Aldorlea games! 8)

Sooooo .... Released May 1st then? +::biggrin

I can't wait to save the world within just 24 hours. I guess no Inns? After all, how often can a character sleep in 24hrs (unless they're a cat).

Thank you so much for a new game. I am sure everyone would agree that no one makes games like you. +::clap

Yep, I agreează that his touch on games is unique... I played a lot of rpg maker games in my life and it's always different feel in a good way, when it's a game made by Indy

Thank you for the nice words.
I do believe I make far more complex games than most. Even the supposedly "high-rated" RM games are generally pretty simple and "skindeep" IMHO. I guess most people don't care to be involved and they just want everything easy...

Indy, your games are up there as one of the best in their class. Your attention to detail, characters and story line is what I want in a game of this type. Long may you continue making them.

I second that, it's not about being easy, I like challenging games but i like them to be fair. Laxius Power/Force series for example, they're hard but fair, and that's what makes them exciting. Also I could always choose the harder modes if I want a bit more challenge.

I don't feel LP/F are particularly fair in comparison to most if not all of my other games.
What I think however is that you guys and gals were more willing to tackle difficulty back then. Maybe you had more time/motivation, I dunno, but never ever I'd say LF was fairer than my other games - quite the contrary.

I played LP eons ago, so I don't remember that.
LF had some very tricky things for sure, but I don't remember anything depending on something else that depended on something else that depended on something else. And the quests weren't made so it's impossible to figure them out on your own, or that you had to do everything in a particular order at a particular time.

Nah all 3 LF (possibly even more part 3) had tons of things like that and the community as a whole (which was bigger and more active than now) struggled to find all the secrets. Mellowkat and then littlebro compiled all the necessary "knowledge" to fully complete those games, or get close anyway, and it was always a mega long document. So no it wasn't different let alone easier back then. Millennium 4 which is from 2011 I think also had tons of connected quests. And TBOL had some very difficult to find secrets as well.

Certainly I wasn't around when the LF series were being released, but I do remember there were quests that were dependent upon other things happening. In particular, I remember the Wendala quest (where she was sold as a slave to infiltrate the slave network) being one which was both prior happenings and time dependent. I think there was also something you had to do in LFII to make one or more equipment items available in LFIII. I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the postings where people divulged their found secrets. It was definitely a community happening to put together the 'complete' walkthrough. Having discovered LF several years later, I was thrilled to find these postings and a little jealous I wasn't involved earlier.

I believe some of that happened again, though to a lesser degree, in Forever Heroes. It was really enjoyable for me to take a more active role as the explorer/reporter in that game and I had as much fun, maybe more, replaying the third and fourth time as more clues were unraveled, as the first. Not to mention, I developed a really nice friendship with kimo, extending even outside this forum, as a result of our shared efforts. Just my thoughts...

tldr: I totally think the quests are sometimes hard but always fair. :)
