I can't? If I try to go North it says the gardens are the other way, and if I go South it just takes me back to the gardens..

After finding the 3 ingredients you have to go back to speak to the elder, which causes a cut scene - then back to Azan and onwards

If you have the correct ones, go see the Elder again to prompt a new dialogue, then leave the Gardens and leave Azan.

I'll take advantage of this post to ask something else that is related.

I'm back to the MSI after Constazca, a scene happened and I'm in control of Random alone. Talked to Luci while she's sick in bed, to Coryool, to Nash, to Zelina and even Sarah which was on a remote place of the institute but now I'm stuck. I checked the whole place and the only person I didn't talked is the lady that asks for donations (I loaded the game thinking I can donate molre later once I earn more money), what should I do?

go to Sarah, stand to the right of her, and use her secret box from inventory.

This is a tricky part but well, Seraphus was there lol

This one is really hard and without the guide can be a total game blocker. I'll give you a hint. Go back to Sarah. After carrying this around for years, it's time to finally let the cat out of the bag.

Or, secret out of the box. Stand next to Sarah and use the menu to select one of your Key Items.

I used it in front of her, but not next to her.
