I have just downloaded this demo and have killed 6 beasts. There is another beast in front of a cave but nothing happens when i confront it. I am going round in circles as there is nothing more that I can see to do but cannot move on. Have I missed something?

Have you talked to that wolf in front of the cave entrance?
If you talk to it, it'll go away, and you can enter the cave.
