is everyone good out there?
i dont have power or internet at my house still (been out for 2 days) so just checking in to make sure we're good here

No power or internet for the past two days, huh? That sounds really annoying +::grrr

Yes, all good here +::biggrin

Currently I am about 26 hours in and leveled up to Raey (29), Mardune (27), Sirix (27), and Guriel (26) and starting to go through Anehull. The fights are tough and you have to wipe out those mages first before they get you! I've loaded up the 3 others with Learning gear as they rejoined Raey at only level 17 so they had a way to go to catch up while I slowed Raey down.

Otherwise continuing on following Raey's incredibly difficult life story - and yet, he just keeps going. Closing in on the magic level 30

have you been finding good loot too!???

I think Raey gets some stuff at higher level as well if i remember correctly.

( don't quote me on that)

Another really fun game to play. I thought the battles were well balanced. I didn't need to do any grinding until the end and that was only to take out the optional big boss, and then grinding was necessary. Fortunately the island with the dinosaurs, along with the tons of Exp/VE enhancing equipment made grinding relatively easy. Just took some time.

@MerryX, don't waste time building up all your characters. Concentrate on Raey, of course, and then Sirix, Mardune and Plum. Those will be your comrades in the latter stages of the game.

Definitely give this game a +::Thumbup

i will say those are great characters, but also

I also thought Daegal and Rhiannon were great additions.

i tried two different parties that were super successful.

Always Raey. one group had plum. the other did not.

Raey, RHianna, Daegal & sirix/Anua are great.

so is Raey, Plum, mardune Sirix.

seriously there's a LOT of great combos you can make

I was just now traipsing around the world, reexploring, and discovered I could recruit Princess Rhiannon. (She's on the roof of Anehull Castle.) Guess I'll keep searching for Daegal and Anua.

One thing I'll say is there are always a few surprises with your games.

Edit: Found Daegal and Anua in Jordan. Guess those orphans can fend for themselves for the next few days while Daegal and Anua go fight some dinosaurs.

if you go back to wailing point- from the start of the game- (remember Umbridge) where Raey married his first wife??

return there and you'll find a special sword

I did also remember that revisiting places will often get you rewards, so, yeah, I did that and have been toting that sword for quite a while now.

Someone else rewards you as well, one of the kings I think. I don't remember that one as well. I think it was armor? I also revisited the dragon, thinking maybe he'd let me have those treasure chests. He didn't, but he did have another pretty good gift for me. And.... since we're spoiling secrets here, I know you like reusing maps so when I was in the Bucnal Cavern and had a Deja Vu moment, I looked carefully for a little path that led off to the right, and I wasn't disappointed!

ah yes the dragon did have some nice treasure!!

how many hours are you up to now? did recollect everyone you wanted?

Guriel is south and a little tougher to find, you have to go back through the gnoll cavern to that small town

I'm working on leveling Rhiannon, Anua and Daegal now. I like Daegal. There were times I was in battle with my prior group when I wished I still had 'that guy who inflicts all those diseases.''

But there are others I can recruit? I'll go look for Guriel next time I stock up to mana potions. Any others I missed? I have about 70 hours in, but a good 15 hours or so were spent leveling up just to put that Superbeast to rest. It's an easy 50-60 hour game without the leveling.

lady every character you played earlier in the game can be refound at the end. it's up to you if you want to beat the game with 3 of your friends, or ALL of them.
generally you find them in their respective areas of the story---
their homeland or wherever you may have left them.

Daegal and Anua are still in the desert town of Jordan for example.

Plum in the monastery.

you know my focus is on making wonderful games for people to play.

I firmly believe that is what i did with Raey.

whether or not people to choose to dive into that experience is out of my control.

As far as I am concerned- i did my job.

This was my 11th game and I feel that they have only gotten better and better.
