Only one ending?

Actually I am coming to believe, reluctantly, that there is only one ending, because no one else seems to have found one as far as I can see. But I really, REEEALLY want to know: is there any way to use this item??? I have tried, but I couldn't find one.

I think it's just a reusable battle item like the Runes, if you got the Stoned conditions it cures it.

Have you tried it out, drakov, for that purpose? It sounded to me like something different from clearing the (normal) stoned condition. Thanks.
