Teasers in Witch Woods?

I'm seeing items that I can't reach. I thought there weren't any teasers, so I must not have figured out how to reach these items, and maybe someone can help.

1. Close to the empty cabin, in the southwest area, there is a patch of exp. pumpkins and river stems, that looks like they're sitting inside a hill. I haven't figured out how to get up that hill. I've tapped all around, and tried to jump up on rocks....

2. There's an aged mugwort that's on top of another isolated hill, and I can't jump up on that either.

Any ideas? Thanks!
