The Golden Dragon How to kill it?

I was trying to beat the gold dragon on the 55 level mount. I sat ther for an hour somtimes taking off over 3000 points and couldn't beat him, although I didn't die just gave up. Has anyone beat him?

i have but forgot how lol.
just use spells, i think sarahs dragon spell and one of lucianas takes alot out and use the other two parties to do healing or strikes
