God Dragon

Has anyone beat the god dragon in duel mode? If so with who and how. My best got totally wiped out.

How did you do that. I levelled random up in everything but it only lasted 2 rounds then it was downhill. He hit me for 400 plus every time and I only got one hit in before having to heal and finaly he hit me for more and I was out.

Can't say for sure I beat him twice Maybe it was the spells i had. and the weapons too.

I found the same thing. Beat him with all the characters but when Random fights by himself he only gets one hit and has to heal.
I used the overstrike spell on him but then had to heal.
Did this twice and then died.
I have done everything else except this duel so am strong enough I think.
Any tactics would be appreciated please.

well i bet 50 bucks that in lvl 99 around half of playable characters would be able to kill him^^
especially if u spend all perma items on them xD)

I just beat him with Random on duel mode, 2nd try after switching tactics. He also hits me for 380-440 per round.

Strategy is actually very simple, but annoying. Make sure Random has around 400 PD, and an item that counter-hits and counter-spells. What happens is that when the dragon strikes, you'll strike back automatically. After that, just drink potions: 50% life or the health elixier for 100% depending on how severe the damage was.

High resistance is important to keep him from getting in critical strikes, he never "critted" against random, but against Baretta he "critted" on his first attack (2205!!! Ouch!). Also, don't be alarmed if your sword only deals like 400 dmg per hit. The God dragon seems to have far less HP than the King Dragon. (weird) I used Emperor's Sword, probably the wrong choice, but that was the highest dmg sword I had.

Anyways I beat him on the 2nd try, you should be able to do it in this manner. (You'll need tons of potions of 50% and 100% HP though. And make sure you're speed is high enough to get the first hit. Save close to the dragon and experiment. (might take a while if your dmg is low)

My Random was 98 and Baretta like 50 something.
