Question for Indy about Sparkz

Are the items that Sparkz finds when he is playing in observant mode based on the monster being fought or the location that they are fighting in?

I have noticed that you can get different items from the same monster. For example, in the crypt where you find Baretta, I got Bromium from the spiders, the snakes and the orcs. But I also got other items from all of them

Does Sparkz skill level have anything to do with it?

Spark (or Sparkz lol) finds items based on location.
He actually looks around, not on the monster(s).
