The area of the hall of confusion....the pillars that you have to hit relates to the magical scroll with which you have to do something first so as to know how to interact with the colored globes on the pillars. That door you "assume is nothing" IS something!Have you found this scroll? As for the saint's crosses, if you have investigated everything well, you will have found enough of them. Sometimes it's best to retrace your steps as you will probably find that you missed something.
