Stairs of nevenmore

I have found the stairs and have started the long climb going straight up. Not turning or going back and forth on the stairs just for the fun of it. How long must they climb to reach the top? I have had to put tape on my up arrow button just so I can go to bed. They have been going up those stairs all night and throughout church services. Is this an eternal climb? Will they ever get to the top?
Is this the end of the game or am I just wasting my time hoping for more???

you have been teleported into the endless stairs

you need to reload your savefile and while they are discussing about nevenmore, when random says "up up up", start pressing UP and only then click enter to end the dialog

random will start walking up
dont stop pressing up until you reach the ending credits
