where is it and should i kill it before leaving town

you have to be in the begining(or end - lol) of the swamp from the lamia tribe side. if you have the wyrm tube in your inventory you will be ask if you want to fight it now. as most of the quests you can finish it after you finish the main quest and will return to rillia 2nd time.
