Weapon card?

I chose weapon card as the reward for the tournament, and it's in my inventory, but no one can equip it. Is there some secret to this, who can equip it?

I'm not sure, I believe I went with one of the other choices. It appears to be an accessory though, so it's possible that it was meant for someone else that joins later in LF2?

I don't recall that any of the reward choices held up particularly well in quality through LF2, so it probably doesn't matter so much that you took the card over, say the hat.
