Stairs of Nevenmore

I have defeated Ozur for the second time. Went to the path to the right where there are stairs.
I have tried to go up but it is never ending. I have pressed the up arrow for ever.

I see where ppl are saying to press "up" when Randon says up up up but in my conversation he does not say this and I do not understand what is meant by "pressing up" Are htey referring to the up arrow or the Page up key?

I had the same problem at first, but it worked for me the second time. I went back to my previous save point and tried again - here's what I did different:

1. From the save bunny at the base of the stairs I backed up and walked toward the stairs so that I'd hit them in the middle.

2. From the moment the talk box is triggered I hit the up arrow key and held it down through the entire conversation.

3. Once the last text box was finish, I didn't move my finger off the up arrow key, even though it took a moment for them to start walking.


That method worked for me. You'll know if you get it. The scene on the stairs will totally change.

before random has finished talking, press UP (pass the dialogs using ENTER at the same time), and don't ever release it until you see the ending credits.

Do you people mean that the game is finished?
but, i missed some side missions and secret points and items also .
its a great disappointing that they didn't let me go to the previous parts of the game.
because i tried to play the game myself without reading the walkthrough .
but maaaaaN... i tell everyone ... this is one hell of game .

a question----if i wear the 'Hat of Persuasion' ,while buying the house, would the price go down?
---------and when buying high price stuff at 'Hall of Madness' will the price go down?
---------and when i collect my revenue , will the money i get increase?

The Hat of Persuasion has many uses but I don't remember if it helps in the cases you mention.
As far as I know, it does help in a case no-one has found yet (from what I've read at least).

You can receive three dragon quest with that hat before going outer world. Also gain better rewards from quests (bounty hunter for ex.)
