I'm not sure how to have Microsoft recognize you as a publisher.
So we just ignore it. We know and trust you.

Thank you very much!

I suppose Windows does that to all new and not-too-well-known softwares. +::Dunno

Well, it's not Windows, it's the virus scan that does it.

Which one do you use and what file has it got a problem with?

I completed the third dungeon.

Then it went into automatic mode, checked all rooms, the butler said downstairs is good, and the game ended.

This is not according to the strategy guide. What did I do wrong?

Stuart is in the third dungeon. You need to complete the second before you can enter the third.

Yes, I found Stuart in the 3rd dungeon, thank you. But the game ended after I defeated that dungeon. It was fun, but I feel like I am missing at least half of the story.

Maybe you should finish watching the credits?

Ok, I'll try watching the credits.
Usually that tells me the game is over....
Thanks.

Usually it's the Game file itself that the virus scan wants to delete.

That's what I thought.
But unless I'm mistaken, it was the same Game.exe as previous games released here. +::Dunno

Thanks, guys! It kinda freaked me out because I never had this happen for me on games from here and it did it for me BEFORE I could even get the windows defender message. Tried it again and now it worked! I am looking forward to playing the demo now! +::YAY

Maybe "they" have finally identified it as fine... (wishful thinking)

As anti-virus programs get "smarter," they seem to report more false positives. If it makes you nervous, you can always scan the game.exe file manually after downloading as long as you aren't using someone's crappy freeware antivirus. But, I have never found a "bad" file from Indi's site in the years I have been buying games here.

On another note, I haven't seen any real comments on the game. Anyone have comments? Good or bad?

I'm currently replaying Opaline from years ago, and will look at the demo in the next few days.

I am playing, in the 6th, possibly the last dungeon. It's huge and I'm having a hard time navigating it. Thoughts on the game... Well, it's similar to its predecessor. The dungeons were all different with a variety of monsters in each which was a refreshing change from the last (not the same developer) game I played. I thought it was a well balanced game. I didn't buy the guide, so maybe I've missed out on a few things. All in all, I've enjoyed the game, though I wouldn't rate it as among the best I've played, but certainly good enough. :)

Edit: I'm still trying to navigate the 6th dungeon and I'm probably going to give up. I've spent several hours walking, snipping, and copying/pasting to make a map to help with the navigation. My current stumbling block is a locked gate in the NW corner. I have the rest of the map done with no other visible exits that haven't been tried and no other gates that haven't been opened. I've found 9 buttons in this perimeter dungeon, some blue and some red. There is also a green button but that's completely walled off. There doesn't seem to be any type of pattern as to whether the button should be up or down and when they do open a gate, it's hard to tell which gate it was as that gate is usually pretty far away. Now that I have the map done, I could just trigger a button and race back to see if that gate opened, there are after all only 9 buttons in the perimeter, however, (1) it could just as easily be one of the buttons back in the central area as those were just as difficult to associate with actions, (2) the encounter rate is set too high so I'm spending all my time fighting monsters and escaping works less than half the time, (3) I fear it's not just one button but multiple buttons which must be set to the correct up or down position. The game was fun and relaxing up until this point. Not so anymore. I'll wait to see if someone else finishes the game.

That's what I do. I manually scan the game's file, and always get a green light. But as I said, my Norton doesn't tell me that there is a virus or something similar, it just tells me that there aren't enough downloads and therefore hasn't got enough info yet on the game to give me the green light.

I didn't say anything about the game, because I didn't want to be the first person to post, and give it a negative review after playing the demo. So all I am saying is that I just don't like this (style of) game.

I took a break and went back to mapping. Got the large gate to the green button open which led to opening the double gate in the upper left (NW) corner. New places to explore. Yay! :)

Review-With the exception of the 6th dungeon, the game was fun to play. There were a couple of amusing 'almost endings' that made me smile. More info in spoiler...
Spoiler: show
Never quite trusting when the game was actually going to end was a unique twist. I know at least one person truly thought the game had ended. Kudos to the developers for being so convincing. :)

The game does have invisible, random battles and I do think the encounter rate is a bit high, especially in the 6th dungeon where you do need to keep going and going and going and going to find all those buttons and backtrack to see which gate they finally opened. I think between Stuart and Darius, one of them could have devised some type of a memory beacon which would have allowed my party to teleport in that 6th dungeon. Of course, I suppose you could always buy the guide. I just chose not to.

Early in the game, you can only save at designated save spots. Later on, you can buy an item that allows you to save anywhere in the dungeon(s). The same is true of an egress item. Those were much appreciated.

I wonder why there were stairs in the church? Red herring or did I miss something?

I liked the weapon/armor deals that came along as you progressed. I did think the enemies were well balanced, and I particularly liked the artwork of the enemies. All in all, I'd say the game was worth the money. The only negative I would say is that I'm not sure the navigation of that 6th dungeon had to be quite so painful. I'm glad that once I completed that dungeon, the game became fun again. :)

Thank you for such a comprehensive feedback, Lady JJ.
Based on your experience, we decided to add 25 steps between each encounter in the final dungeon.
The new build has been delivered to Indinera for uploading.
If you donated enough money to the church, you can also receive an Ancient Branch that halves the encounter rate.
