AuntIggy: Understood! End of March it will be, you hold me to that ;)

vodunlady: Really glad that you enjoyed the game :) I know waiting stinks, but Arvale: Episode 2 I plan on releasing by the end of March, which isn't too far off ;)

jaybot7 - have you thought of redoing the other two Arvale's in a format like the new one? or are you allowed to?

AuntIggy, I've thought about it a few times, but doing them from scratch in a new engine would be a bit difficult because:
a) getting permission would be tough (especially since they're still selling pretty well on iPhone versions) and

b) it would be a *lot* of work. Journey of Illusion was a 20+ hour game spanning 6 continents (with a ton of sidequests and NPCs to interact with) and Arvale II was a 40+ hour game with 8 continents times 3 time periods (past, present, future).

On both of those games, I also had a few other developers on the project while working on and they both took about 1 year to develop. On the other hand, much of the hard work is already done, so I might be able to put the first one together in 4-6 months if I had the extra time and there was enough interest ;)

I've also thought about writing a small story book (with pretty pictures) for each one summarizing the story with the same style of humor for those who simply want to read the story :)

All right! I'm interested! My curiosity has been captured concerning the 'wheel barrow' conversations. Come on everybody, show some interest so jaybot7 will have incentive to recreate his creation! +::YAY +::clap +::YAY +::clap
Pretty please? +::kiss +::biggrin
Maybe you could work out something with the folks here? Don't know if that's appropriate and sorry if it wasn't. Just a thought.

I'm happy that you're interested and I'll definitely keep it in mind! :)

In the meantime, here is a picture of a wheelbarrow: http://pdamill.com/images/ot/wallpapers/wheelbarrow.bmp ;)

Jaybot7 -

Add me to the list, I'm rooting along w/AuntIggy; and are you trying to get us all to talk to wheel barrels...?
Any other games planned in addition to the Arvale series? I'm hooked, between Aldorlea, LaxForce, Deadly Sin's company and a heap of other RPG's popping up out there (all thanks to Aldorlea and LaxForce might I add) :) I'm hoping I've got my gaming set for the next few months anyway! +::biggrin

Thanks loads for all of the creativity everyone!

Alikamou and vodunlady: Yes. Yes I am trying to get you to talk to wheelbarrows.

While it originally seemed like an involuntary action due to the nature of the game; it is actually an evil plot I am using for taking over the world. One Wheelbarrow at a time.

The more people we have talking to Wheelbarrows, the more the Wheelbarrows will listen to us, and the more power we will have! :)

Other games in addition to the Arvale series? Well, I do plan on making the Broken Blueprint game (there's a short demo on my site) into a full-length adventure game someday. Similar humor to the Arvale games. If you try it out, be sure and look at the Torches ;)

Alikamou: Glad you liked Broken Blueprint :)

Oh no... the soap! It's back in Thimpote in the conservatory, right side on the table of 'free stuff'. There is a full walkthrough here if you need it: http://bit.ly/cTStRQ ;)

AuntIggy, there's this old guy in Klumet (catch the ship from Dhierce) who's house is near the north exit of the town, who asks a favor of you to...GUESS WHAT of all things...to DO HIS LAUNDRY +::grrr But, like a good gardner that he is, he tries but...NO SOAP!!!! That's where I'm at. Not nearly finished yet. Still trying to figure out the marsh directions. I'm getting dizzy from going around in circles +::lol +::lol +::lol Anyway, downloaded the walkthrough and found out about a beer quest. Sheesh. I was trying to keep him sober and now he needs the beer +::lol +::lol +::lol
